Client: East Dunbartonshire Council

The project was for the redevelopment of Regent Gardens and consisted of drainage improvements, resurfacing, footpath reconstruction, construction of concrete retaining walls and concrete seating ledges (clad in Kilkenny stone), construction of terraced area, installation of streetlighting, installation of ducting for (for new electrical system) and landscaping.

  • Surfacing 1,100m2

  • Concrete 370m3

  • Caithness paving slabs 722m2

  • Granite kerbing 450m

  • Granite setts 120m2

  • Kilkenny stone cladding 1,500m2

  • Turf 400m2

  • Plants 1,500 no.

Points of Interest

  • Installation of motorised awning with canopy for events area within Regent Gardens

  • Working in very close proximity to commercial properties with pedestrian access maintained throughout the duration of the works

  • Communication with stakeholders imperative to the success of the project
