Client: Falkirk Council
We were Principal Contractor for the construction of a new 1.4km link road, designed to ease congestion in and around Denny Cross. The project included earthworks (cut/fill), construction of pavements, culvert and SUDS pond, installation of streetlighting, signage, fencing and landscaping.

Points of Interest
Several utility diversions being managed through the works including 3 no. 33/11kv overhead line SPEN diversions and a BT Openreach diversion
Scottish Water watermain protection works
Installation of new 24m-long box culvert to permanently divert Little Denny Burn
Localised areas of ground improvement works requiring excavation and replacement with engineering fill to a maximum of 4m below ground level
Management of existing Public Rights of Way requiring to be diverted and maintained throughout
Liaison with school in close proximity to the works
Extensive Community Benefits in place including providing local employment, engaging with local schools and engaging with local supply chain
