Cuningar Woodland Park

Client: Clyde Gateway URC Ltd

The purpose of the contract was the creation of a car park and vehicle access for a new woodland park on the south bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow. The works included site clearance, earthworks, permeable paving and asphalt construction, new access bell mouth, kerbing, drainage, construction of a footpath link and landscaping along with the installation of fencing and gates.

  • Bodpave 85 paving grids 1,400m2

  • Excavation and import of 6F material 30,000t

  • Edge of carriageway filter drain systems 700m

Points of Interest

  • Working in close proximity to a number of sensitive residents including adjacent static caravan park

  • Close liaison required with local residents with change to working methods to limit noise and vibrations from access road construction

  • Achieved a score of 10/10 against twelve KPIs on the Post Project Survey
