The works were for the provision of roads, drainage and services infrastructure for the Cowhill Business Park which is part of the Heartlands Development being carried out in Whitburn, West Lothian. RJ McLeod's works comprised substantial earthworks both to construct the road infrastructure and to provide SUDS drainage ponds. There was also a River Almond tributary diversion which was subject to a SEPA CAR licence. Roundabouts (5 no.) were constructed amont a road network comprising both single and dual carriageways with associated tie-ins to the existing road network. Two pumping stations (4m dia. & 2.4m dia.) were constructed as part of the works for Scottish Water.
