The contract was for Public Realm Works to the Grassmarket in the Old Town area of Edinburgh, involving the refurbishment and relaying of existing natural stone setts coupled with new Caithness flagstones. New streetlighting and CCTV works were installed along with underground recycling units and service supplies for street events. Soft landscaping works included new semi-mature trees. Refurbishment works were also carried out to listed buildings and monuments.
