This contract was for the refurbishment and strengthening of the existing road bridge including the following operations: removal and replacement of 26m steel bridge beam; replacement and refurbishment of cast iron parapet; blasting and painting of underbridge steelwork; new concrete bridge deck; waterproofing and full road construction; decorative lighting and new signage.
