The works consisted of the provision, on a derelict brownfield site, of the complete infrastructure for the first phase of Robroyston Technology Park (now known as Nova Technology Park). This entailed the construction of 550m of carriageway construction in conjunction with associated earthworks, foul and surface water sewers incorporating an attenuation system, footways and utility infrastructure.

Principal Elements included:

Sewers - 2000m in diameters 150mm to 900mm at depths between 2.0 and 6.5m
Disposal - 10,000m3 of contaminated arisings to licensed offsite tips and SEPA approved clay encapsulated/sealed onsite bunds (in conjunction with equal volume of replacement imported drain track backfill)
Attenuation System - Network of 4 no. 2.5m dia. x 14.1m long GRP tanks linked to 4 no. 2.1m dia.manhole chambers, all 6.0m deep
Carriageways - 5792m2
Footways - 2608m2
