Project Description

The contract is for the expansion of the 8-stance bus station situated at the busy Princes Shopping Mall in East Kilbride. 14 drive-through stances will be provided along with associated shelters and covered walkways. A new Travel Centre/Citizens’ Advice Bureau is being built. The car park and taxi rank will be reconfigured and an existing underpass infilled. External works include all streetlighting, hardstandings, retaining wall, hard and soft landscaping, pedestrian barriers, trolley parks and underground ducts for Strathclyde Passenger Transport’s signage information and CCTV installation.
