Project Description
The contract was for the construction of 19 no. reinforced concrete wind turbine foundations with associated access roads and cabling trench work for a windfarm on moorland to west of Golspie in Sutherland. Concrete batching was carried out on site and the majority of bulk rock fill and processed materials were blasted and crushed in on-site borrow pits.
